Monique Williams grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised in a loving household that focused on the importance of having integrity, applying empathy, and the development of a sound moral compass. Monique graduated from Cass Technical High School then went to pursue a Bachelors of Education from Wayne State University. After graduating from Wayne State University Monique worked as a social studies teacher in predominantly urban area schools.
During her teaching career she noticed the growing lack of equity within the educational and legal systems. This sparked action and put her on the path of enrolling in Western Michigan Cooley Law School where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree. As a lawyer Monique continues her legal education to ensure she is well versed in the constantly evolving case law.
As a lawyer Monique is committed to helping clients navigate through the justice system to promote not only equity but a peace of mind.
